Kovats Real Estate and Insurance School was founded in 1973 by Frank W. Kovats. Starting from humble beginnings and a 6-person class, to nearly a half century later, Kovats School has had the pleasure of educating hundreds of thousands of people seeking to obtain their NJ real estate and insurance licenses. Frank is the author of the well renowned, Principles and Practices of New Jersey Real Estate, which is now on it's 20th edition. Frank passed away in June 2014 and since that time his grandson, Kyle Kovats, has been the director and lead instructor at Kovats Real Estate School. For the schools nearly half century of operation it has remained family owned and operated, something the Kovats family takes great pride in.

Kyle Kovats,
Instructor

Kyle Kovats is the grandson of founder Frank W. Kovats. Growing up, Kyle would help his grandfather make revisions to Principles and Practices of New Jersey Real Estate the textbook which is still used in class today and now on it's 20th edition. While attending Rutgers University, Kyle worked part-time as a Realtor in Hoboken. Upon graduation in 2013 he went into real estate sales full-time. In 2016 Kyle was recognized by the National Association of Realtors as one of the top Realtors in the country when he was named to their prestigious “30 Under 30” list. Kyle has been teaching pre-license classes since 2013 and is the director and lead instructor at the school. One of the unique things about Kyle is that he is one of the few instructors in the state that actively sells homes, and he shares that experience with students in class. Kyle also is an active real estate investor with an investment portfolio consisting of over 2100 apartments in Texas, Florida, Arizona, and Indiana. Outside of real estate Kyle is a huge Rutgers football fan and stays active exercising, and playing basketball.
